Krista Mulcahy is an instrumental music specialist. In 1994, she earned a B.S. in Music Education degree from Jacksonville State Universty. She earned the M.M. from Louisiana State University in 1996. Mrs. Mulcahy is currently in the final stage of a D.M.A. in Music Education degree from Boston University. She is proficient on piano, percussion, and flute.
Mrs. Mulcahy taught middle and high school for 7 years in the Atlanta, Georgia area. While teaching instrumental music, she also performed as a percussionist with the Atlanta Wind Symphony and the First Baptist Atlanta Sanctuary Orchestra. In 2003, she moved to Charleston, South Carolina to teach at the collegiate level. For 8 years, she served in the music department at Charleston Southern University and taught instrumental ensembles, music education courses, conducting, general music, and applied studio.
Mrs. Mulcahy now resides in Muncie, Indiana with her husband and one-year old son. She continues to instruct instrumental music while completing her doctorate degree.
